Next Meeting - Our next HOABC club meeting-Saturday, August 27, 2016, to be held in conjunction with the Capital City Classic show cluster at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka KS. Meeting will start approximately one half hour after Boxer breed judging in the HOABC grooming area. Guests and Boxer lovers are always welcome.
Next Shows - Our 67th Annual Specialty Shows will be held at the Kansas ExpoCenter in Topeka KS from October 27th through 30th as part of the 2016 American Boxer Club Regional Cluster. Our first event on Thursday, October 27th will include an AKC Sanctioned 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition followed by our specialty show, both judged by David Gilmour. Our second event on Friday, October 28th will include a Sweepstakes competition judged by Mr Mitchell Dunn, followed by a specialty show judged by Terri Houston. Missouri Valley Boxer Club's specialty show will be on Friday, October 29th and the American Boxer Club specialty show will wrap things up on Sunday, October 30th!
Next "Fun"draisers - During the above shows we will be offering a joint raffle with the Missouri Valley Boxer Club with great prizes. Contact Jeannine Millard at for advance tickets, or pick them up at the event! We'll also be offering door prizes, a 50/50 cash raffle and another HOABC raffle at our Thursday evening hospitality party!

Picnic, Fun Match & Annual Meeting - Boxer Lovers mark June 25, 2016 on your calendars right now and join HOABC members for a day of fun at Shawnee Mission Park Shelter House #4. The days events will start at 10:00 AM with a Boxer puppy fun match (3-18 months of age, not major pointed), judge TBD.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a bountiful picnic luncheon with table service and meat entree provided by the club and prepared as always by chefs Mark Ewing & Jim Emerson. Club members are asked to bring a homemade side dish or dessert, and a beverage. Following the picnic luncheon, we will have our Annual Meeting and Election of Officers, then a brief meeting of the Board of Directors.

After the meeting, we invite you to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the great facilities and opportunities available at the park including fishing, bicycling or just walking with your Boxers and friends. So we have plenty of food, please RSVP to Mark Ewing before June 18th!
